It sucked. It didn't even happen during a race - which makes it double suck. There's a reason why the co-drivers' sites mention writing "pins out" at the end of every stage, and "pins in" at the beginning. I've added this to my list of "pre-rally checklist" items and as part of my notes/route book organization. At least we know the pins work - I had my doubts that they were actually strong enough to do that. :) Yeah, the hood came up. It sucked. That's my one and only phobia when it comes to racing...and I mean it's a true doublecheck-the-hood-pins-after-every-stage phobia.
