Wedding Planning Update #13B - Accessories Shopping Part II (Shoes!)
Shoes are here!!! They actually came in on Monday, but I completely forgot I had not posted about my shoe decision or that I had ordered them. But they’re here! So these are the ones I chose, the Mackenzie. It took two long weeks to get them, after a small problem with the gift card which I fixed immediately. Once they came in, I wore them for about five hours, until I went to make dinner and decided it would be a good idea to take them off before they got dirty. They’re really comfy, but I plan on getting the “Runaway Bride” shoe cushion set from Foot Petals. There’s all this wedding-only stuff I’m finding out about, but what’s weird is that these companies would probably make a lot more money if they advertised their products for other formal occasions, like proms and sweet sixteen parties. In any case, it’s one crazy industry!
I don’t have much left to shop for, which is good. And I have everything I need to start my fittings next week!
However, I still need my “something borrowed…” Anyone have suggestions?
